This will be a hybrid meeting, one with a Zoom option for those who can’t physically attend.

Have you ever experienced a lack of motivation in your writing life? Banish those blahs, because this month Kathy Nickerson will present, “Good morning, Mrs. Jennings” – tips to help us get out of bed, face the page, and keep writing.

Kathy Nickerson is an author, speaker, and eternal optimist whose favorite accessory is a microphone.
She believes the hardest questions in life can be handled with faith, humor, and a few good friends. She and her handsome husband are the parents of four children and grandparents to seventeen. They recently moved to Nebraska to be closer to the Husker grandchildren.
Kathy loves to find God’s silver lining in a cloudy world.

She is the author of several magazine articles, newspaper columns and short stories, along with six novels. You can learn more or get in touch with Kathy through her website www.kathynick.com or connect with her on social media.

This month, please join us at

Please note: there are stairs to negotiate in the building to get to the meeting area.

Since our members live in various areas, we’ll continue the In-person/Zoom hybrid meetings, plus rotate the local areas where we’ll gather.
If you have a meeting place suggestion, please share it with the leadership team by emailing jeanie@wordsowers.com.

Please join our private FB group if you would like to be a part of this meeting.

We meet the 4th Thursday of the month from 7:00-8:30 pm.

We welcome you to explore our Facebook page.

We’re often our own harshest critics. That negativity can stifle our creative flow, and hinder our momentum. Join author Jeanie Jacobson for a night of encouragement and fresh starts.

We’ll not only give ourselves a “grace pass,” we’ll use five keys to identify–and eradicate–the culprits that hinder our writing process.
Together we’ll move forward with creating, honing, and submitting our work.

May 25, 2017, 6PM @ Swanson Library, 90th & Dodge, Omaha

The meeting room is on the basement level. Park on the east side of the building and walk into the lower door.

After the meeting, we’ll gather for our informal Afterglow chat session at Village Inn, 7837 Dodge Street.
